As noted in a recent article in Information Management*, “IM professionals who have traditionally considered their domain to be that of records creation and use, eschewing the inactive phase of records (except to note disposition and disposal), must now accept the need for continuous and differing appraisal of records in their care.” One of the key considerations prior to disposition must be to determine if records have historical significance, and if so should they be preserved in the company’s media archive.

Join us for an interactive panel discussion with experts from Allied Vaughn who will explore the lifecycle of information management as it pertains to some of the world’s largest corporate media archives. The panelists will share case studies that highlight the strategy and best practices that support both records management and media archive workflows, along with an examination of the process and systems that bring them together.

Light refreshments will be served, and an optional tour of the Allied Vaughn facility will be provided following the presentation (approx. 45 minutes). Since we need an accurate headcount for the tour, please indicate "yes/no" to the question when prompted during registration.
