This session is designed to help records managers, clerks, archivists and legal professionals understand the processes and services available for paper document recovery after a disaster and why it is so vital. Join guest presenter David Patrician as we explore the basics of paper document recovery and discuss the following topics:

  • Common damage to paper records and reasons why we recover them
  • Drying methods used to recover water damaged documents
  • Methodologies used to recovery documents damaged by fire, smoke, mold and sewage
  • Realities of document recovery and how to calculate the cubic footage of affected documents

Join us for light refreshments and networking at the Kelly Services World HQ facility. Please park in the north parking lot facing Big Beaver (16 Mile) and enter through the north doors to check in with the front desk.

About our Speaker

David Patrician is the Director for Interstate's Document Recovery Division. With over 15 years’ experience in both commercial and residential restoration, he excels at working with both large and small projects. David's extensive knowledge of different document recovery processes makes him a valuable educator and credible expert in the industry. David is a long-time ARMA member and Past President of the Detroit Chapter.
